Speaking with ANI, Arun emphasized that the elections emphasized good governance, praising the BJP-led NDA for its performance.

The minister drew comparisons between Assam and Bengal, noting BJP's significant majority in Assam and attributing TMC's issues to industry flight, contrasting them with the BJP's success. He commended the Election Commission's integrity, suggesting the people of Bengal voted fearlessly for governance akin to Uttar Pradesh's crime-free, development-focused administration.
