In a significant escalation near the Russian-held Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in southeastern Ukraine, two employees sustained injuries from a Ukrainian drone attack, according to the plant's Russian-installed management.
The employees were reportedly traveling in a vehicle approximately 100 meters from the nuclear station's perimeter when the attack occurred, fulfilling their official duties. The management conveyed these details via a post on the Telegram messaging app.
The International Atomic Energy Agency has highlighted a notable rise in drone activity around Ukrainian nuclear power plant locations, emphasizing the growing tension in the region this week.
