His comments came after Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge's press meet, which followed the opposition's Monday strategy session attended by leaders from 23 parties, all focused on presenting a unified front on electoral integrity and economic issues.

Throughout his address, Patra did not mince words, accusing the opposition of playing a 'tape recorder' narrative after electoral defeats. He highlighted internal tensions within the alliance, suggesting unresolved conflict, particularly focusing on discrepancies within the Congress party and Trinamool Congress, camouflages a broader issue of diminishing public trust.
