In a move generating significant backlash, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has drawn ire for his statement expressing 'inspiration from Adolf Hitler' while referring to the state's anti-encroachment task force, HYDRAA. The comments were made at a media conclave in Bengaluru, escalating political tensions across Telangana.
Telangana Minister Sridhar Babu Duddilla clarified the CM's remarks, emphasizing they were intended to underscore a tough stand against illegal land encroachments, ensuring public property remains with the government. He distanced the administration from any association with Nazi philosophies, describing criticisms from political rivals as unfounded.
Mane Krishank, a spokesperson for the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), strongly condemned the Chief Minister's remarks.
