Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday virtually inaugurated and laid foundation stones for three key health projects in Odisha, marking a significant step towards strengthening the state’s healthcare infrastructure.

The projects include the launch of the Central Drugs Testing Laboratory at Gothapatna and a 50-bed critical care block at the District Headquarters Hospital in Bargarh. Additionally, the foundation stone was laid for the new Central Research Institute in Yoga and Naturopathy near Bhubaneswar.

Odisha’s Health Minister Majhi and various local leaders highlighted the increased healthcare budget, underscoring the government’s commitment to health services. The new developments promise improved health facilities and services, aligning with initiatives like the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
