In a significant move to bolster the Indian nutraceutical sector, NSF, a global public health organization, has officially partnered with the Indian Drug Manufacturers' Association (IDMA). The collaboration was cemented with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, witnessed by key figures from both organizations.

The agreement focuses on implementing a tailored Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) framework for nutraceutical manufacturers. This initiative aims to align local practices with global standards, enhancing the industry's capacity and boosting its potential in international markets.

The partnership between NSF and IDMA will offer a suite of services, including audit and certification, capacity building, and industry engagement, ensuring comprehensive support for nutraceutical businesses across the country.
