The World Health Organization has unveiled an ambitious $518 million plan to combat Ebola over the next six months. The announcement came from WHO Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who expressed optimism about curbing the outbreak with this strategic initiative.
The plan, which leverages previous outbreak responses and recent health emergencies, will be a joint effort with the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention. It's scheduled to run from June to November and aims to contain the virus effectively.
