During his visit to France for the AI Action Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gifted an eco-friendly wooden alphabet set to Mirabel Rose Vance, the daughter of US Vice President JD Vance. The durable and sustainable gift aimed to enhance cognitive abilities and motor skills, standing out as a safer, environmentally friendly alternative to plastic.

In addition to this thoughtful gift, PM Modi presented the French President Emmanuel Macron with intricate Dokra artwork featuring musicians adorned with studded stonework. His three-day visit to France was filled with engagements related to Artificial Intelligence, trade, energy, and cultural connections, culminating in his role as co-chair at the AI Action Summit alongside global leaders and technology CEOs.

After concluding his French visit, PM Modi arrived in the United States at the invitation of President Donald Trump. Upon landing, he was warmly received by India's Ambassador to the US, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, and other officials at Joint Base Andrews in Washington, DC. This trip marked PM Modi's first visit to the US since President Trump's reelection.

Upon reaching Blair House, PM Modi was welcomed by members of the Indian diaspora chanting patriotic slogans, a show of fervent support. A symbolic gesture was made by hoisting the Indian flag at Blair House, where PM Modi stayed during his US visit from February 12-13.

PM Modi and President Trump have maintained regular telephonic communication since November 2024. During this period, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has actively engaged with US leadership, including attending President Trump's inauguration and participating in crucial diplomatic meetings like the QUAD Foreign Ministers' assembly in January 2025.
