In a strategic display of military strength, India successfully executed Operation Sindoor, targeting terrorist infrastructures in Pakistan. Overseeing this operation, Vice Admiral AN Pramod emphasized the Indian Navy's robust air defense capabilities, which have effectively curtailed threats from Pakistan, ensuring maritime dominance.

Addressing the press, Air Marshal AK Bharti detailed the successful execution of Operation Sindoor on May 7, which focused on nine terror sites in Pakistan and PoK. The operation was a direct response to the terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22 and aimed to minimize damage to civilian areas.

Amidst minimal damage to infrastructures, India's integrated air defense system stood out for thwarting multiple waves of Pakistani drones. A decade of budgetary support has bolstered India's defense capabilities, enabling the development of advanced counter-UAV systems and a coordinated defense environment under the IAF's Integrated Air Command and Control System.
