Changan chief: in talks with European carmakers on local production

Chinese ​carmaker ‌Changan is ​in active talks with ‌European manufacturers on producing cars in Europe, its president Zhao ‌Fei said on ‌Monday.

He also said that the company will announce ⁠a ​factory location ⁠and local partners by ⁠the end of this ​year, adding that he plans ⁠a European production capacity ⁠of ​180,000 units by 2028 and 350,000 units ⁠by 2030.
