Two security personnel killed in shoot-out with terrorists in Pak

Two security personnel were and four others injured during a shoot-out with terrorists in Pakistan's restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, an official said Tuesday. The shoot-out with terrorists in the rugged mountainous terrain in Nizampur area of Nowshera districts is still underway, district police officer Mansoor Aman said.

He said at least two personnel were killed and four other policemen were injured in the shoot-out. The death toll may go up as the gun battle is still going on, Aman said.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, formerly known as North-West Frontier Province, is one of the four administrative provinces of Pakistan, located in the northwestern region of the country along the international border with Afghanistan.
