German minister's Taiwan visit in line with "one China" policy - source

The German government has taken note of the Chinese reaction to Education Minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger's visit to Taiwan, which is in line with its so-called "one China" policy, a source at the German foreign office told Reuters on Tuesday.

China's foreign ministry said earlier Tuesday it had issued a diplomatic complaint to Germany about the visit.
