People's Bank of China Governor Pan Gongsheng met International Monetary Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva on Friday while attending the International Monetary Fund and World Bank meetings in Morocco, a statement from the central bank said on Saturday.

"The two sides exchanged views on the global and Chinese economic and financial situation and cooperation between China and the IMF," the statement read.
