Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind Calls for Swift Justice Post Aligarh Lynching

Prominent Muslim organization Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind urged the UP government to fast-track the investigation into the mob lynching of Fareed in Aligarh. Condemning the violence, the Jamiat demanded justice, assistance for the victim's family, and called for communal peace.

Prominent Muslim organization Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind on Thursday called on the Uttar Pradesh government to swiftly expedite the investigation into the mob lynching incident in Aligarh and ensure swift justice for Fareed, the victim of the unfortunate event.

The incident, which took place on Tuesday night, saw 35-year-old Fareed brutally attacked by a mob accusing him of theft. The police have arrested six individuals, with seven more identified as participants in the mob.

Jamiat chief Maulana Mahmood Madani condemned the violence, urging speedy justice and necessary assistance for the victim’s family. He emphasized the importance of peace and legal measures to prevent further communal tensions.
