In the early hours of Thursday, the Ukrainian air force reported that Russia launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles along with six Shahed drones in a coordinated attack on various regions of Ukraine.
The missile strike in the northeastern region of Sumy resulted in one injury, as confirmed by regional authorities. However, Ukrainian air defense successfully intercepted and shot down all six drones across four different regions.
Despite the drone debris causing a small fire in an open area within the Mykolaiv region, no casualties were reported. Similarly, the western regions of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Khmelnytskyi confirmed there were no casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure.
