Photos of Trump, President Joe Biden, and other officials were found on Crooks' phone, alongside searches related to the Democratic National Convention and mental health disorders, as disclosed by anonymous sources to The Associated Press.

Special Agent Kevin Rojek confirmed during a conference call that there were no indications of mental health issues concerning Crooks. Investigators are still probing what motivated him to open fire, which resulted in the death of a rallygoer and injuries to two others, including a minor injury to Trump.

The FBI is investigating the incident as potential domestic terrorism, although the absence of a clear ideological motive has fueled conspiracy theories. Trump's minor injury did not deter him from attending the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee shortly after the incident.
