Controversy Over Kejriwal's Health in Prison Escalates

Delhi Lt Governor VK Saxena has accused Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, currently in judicial custody, of deliberately avoiding his prescribed medical diet and medication. The AAP has countered, alleging a conspiracy to harm Kejriwal's health. Multiple discrepancies in medical reports have further fueled the controversy.

Delhi Lt Governor VK Saxena has raised serious concerns over Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's health management while he is under judicial custody in Tihar jail. Accusations have surfaced that Kejriwal may be intentionally avoiding his medical diet and medication, according to a communication from the Raj Niwas.

Revealing details from a report by the Superintendent (Prison), the LG's letter to Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar points out numerous instances where Kejriwal reportedly opted for low-calorie intake despite being provided with sufficient home-cooked food. Saxena has advised the prison authorities to urge Kejriwal to adhere to his prescribed medication and diet, considering his history of Type-II Diabetes Mellitus.

The Aam Aadmi Party has vehemently opposed these claims, accusing the BJP-led central government of plotting to cause permanent damage to Kejriwal's health. They allege that Kejriwal has lost significant weight and suffered severe drops in blood sugar levels, which could have led to coma or brain damage.
