Indian Embassy Warns Against Travel to Lebanon Amid Rising Tensions
The Indian Embassy in Beirut has advised Indian nationals to avoid traveling to Lebanon and leave the country due to escalating violence between Israel and Hezbollah. Following recent attacks and heightened regional threats, those who remain are urged to exercise caution and stay in contact with the embassy.
The Indian Embassy in Beirut has issued a strong advisory for Indian nationals to refrain from traveling to Lebanon and to leave the country immediately due to the escalating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
Violence has intensified since October last year along the Israeli-Lebanese border. Recently, Israel targeted and killed Hezbollah's top military commander Fouad Shukur, who was reportedly behind a deadly rocket attack in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
The embassy has stressed the importance of caution for those who remain, urging limited movement and regular communication with the embassy via email or emergency contact numbers.
