Telangana ACB Seizes Disproportionate Assets Worth Rs 6 Crore
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Telangana has seized properties worth approximately Rs six crore in a disproportionate assets case involving a Superintendent in-charge Revenue Officer. The case was registered after the officer allegedly acquired assets through corrupt practices. Investigations and further searches are ongoing.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Telangana announced on Friday that it has confiscated properties worth around Rs six crore in a disproportionate assets case. The operation was carried out at the residence of an official employed in the Municipal Corporation Office in Nizamabad district, among other locations.
The case targets a Superintendent in-charge Revenue Officer who is accused of amassing assets disproportionate to his income via corrupt practices and dubious means, according to an ACB release. An FIR was registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act, prompting the searches.
During the operation, Rs 2.93 crore in cash, a bank balance of Rs 1.10 crore held by the officer, his wife, and mother, gold worth Rs six lakh, and 17 immovable properties valued at Rs 1.98 crore were seized. Further investigations and searches are currently underway to uncover more assets.
