A Border Security Force (BSF) constable, Mohan Lal, sustained a bullet injury after his service rifle accidentally discharged, police reported on Saturday.
Lal was stationed at the Subsidiary Training Center (STC) at BSF's Kharkan Camp, located about 17 kilometers from the city.
The injured constable was admitted to a private hospital where his condition is currently stable. The incident occurred while Lal was cleaning his rifle, according to police statements.
