Cards Against Humanity has filed a lawsuit against SpaceX, alleging that the aerospace company trespassed on and damaged their property in Texas. The game company claims that SpaceX has been using their land for construction activities without permission. The lawsuit seeks USD 15 million in damages for property loss and vegetation damage.
Cards Against Humanity, the maker of the renowned party game, has launched a legal battle against Elon Musk's SpaceX, alleging the aerospace giant of unauthorized use and damage to its property in Texas.
The lawsuit, filed in a Texas court this week, accuses SpaceX of treating the game company's land in Cameron County as its own for the past six months, using it for construction material storage without seeking permission.
Acquired in 2017 as a protest against former President Trump's border wall plans, the land, maintained in its natural state, bore a 'no trespassing' sign. Cards Against Humanity seeks USD 15 million in damages, citing lost vegetation and property impact.
