Hezbollah-Israel Conflict Escalates: Unrest Deepens on Both Sides

Hezbollah deputy chief Naim Qassem declared an 'open-ended battle of reckoning' during a funeral for a fallen commander. Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant stated that operations would continue until it was safe for evacuated people to return home, suggesting an open-ended conflict.

Israeli Chief of the General Staff Herzi Halevi assured that the military is well-prepared for the next stages. The conflict was exacerbated by Israel’s recent heavy bombardment of Lebanon, which followed suspected Israeli attacks on Hezbollah's communication devices.
