Threatening Call: Young Farmer's Aspiration to Infamy

The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) has interrogated a 20-year-old man from Madhya Pradesh, Sunil Gurjar, over allegations of threatening to kill Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, police confirmed on Wednesday.

Hailing from Hasai Mewda village in Morena district, Gurjar allegedly made a threatening call to the UP CM's office, a claim confirmed by Darshan Shukla, the police in-charge of the Civil Lines station. Despite the gravity of the allegations, the UP STF questioned Gurjar on Tuesday without arresting him.

The police have yet to register a case, and no prior criminal record for Gurjar has been identified. Gurjar, who stopped formal education at class 8 and pursued farming, told PTI his actions were driven by his ambition to become a 'don.' Further investigations continue.
