Tejas Karia Strengthens Delhi High Court as New Judge
Tejas Dhirenbhai Karia, an expert in arbitration law, has been appointed as a judge of the Delhi High Court, increasing its strength to 39. The appointment was confirmed after a recommendation by the Supreme Court collegium and was officiated by Chief Justice D K Upadhyaya.

Arbitration law authority Tejas Dhirenbhai Karia was sworn in as a judge of the Delhi High Court on Friday, enhancing the court's current roster to 39 judges.
Chief Justice D K Upadhyaya led the oath-taking ceremony at the high court premises, marking Karia's formal entry into his judicial role.
The Central government issued Karia's notification on February 12, following the Supreme Court collegium's recommendation in August last year. Karia, previously a Partner and Head of Arbitration at Shardul Amarchand & Mangaldas, joins the court where the sanctioned strength is 60.
