Bangladesh Nationals Detained at Tripura Station Amid Trafficking Suspicion
Four Bangladesh nationals, including three women, were detained at Teliamura railway station in Tripura by the BSF following anti-human trafficking intelligence. Allegedly returning from Bangalore, they will undergo thorough interrogation. The BSF also thwarted a smuggling attempt, seizing yaba tablets valued at Rs 2 crore.

In a significant development at Teliamura railway station in Tripura's Khowai district, four Bangladesh nationals, including three women, were detained by the Border Security Force (BSF) amid suspicions of human trafficking. The operation followed specific intelligence inputs, leading to their detention as they deboarded the Silchar-Agartala Express.
According to the BSF official, the detainees had traveled back to Tripura from Bangalore. A comprehensive interrogation is planned to uncover the details surrounding their journey, after which they will be handed over to the police for further legal proceedings.
Additionally, BSF personnel successfully intercepted a smuggling operation at the Kullubari border in Sepahijala district. They seized two packets of yaba tablets, suspected to be worth Rs 2 crore, preventing the consignment from being smuggled over the border fence.
