On Wednesday, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah addressed the ongoing concerns regarding the Karnataka Civil Services Exam 2023-24, asserting that a re-examination can only occur if directed by the court.
The exams, initially conducted in May 2024 by the Karnataka Public Service Commission, faced significant backlash due to incorrect translations of questions from English to Kannada. Despite a re-examination, translation errors persisted.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, acknowledging allegations about procedural issues, expressed intent to reform the KPSC, emphasizing the need for integrity and efficiency. He highlighted the government's willingness to address these issues, pending judicial guidance.
