India's Operation Brahma: Aid Flow to Quake-Hit Myanmar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended India's solidarity to Myanmar in the aftermath of a colossal earthquake that has taken the lives of more than 1,000 people. Modi, in communications with General Min Aung Hlaing, the head of Myanmar's military-led government, expressed deep condolences over the tragic loss.
In a statement on platform X, Modi said he had conveyed India's support to the people of Myanmar during these challenging times. As part of its commitment, India has launched 'Operation Brahma', dispatching disaster relief materials, humanitarian aid, and search and rescue teams to assist the affected regions.
So far, 15 tonnes of relief materials have been delivered to Myanmar through this operation. The ongoing effort underscores India's readiness to provide aid in times of crisis, reinforcing its role as a supportive neighbor and close friend.
