In a stark contradiction to the declared ceasefire, Ukraine's air force reported that Russian aircraft launched guided bombs in the northern region of Sumy early Thursday morning.
The report emerged from the air force's statement on their Telegram social media account, outlining the purported attack.
While Reuters has not been able to independently verify these bombings, the air force claims they occurred merely three hours after President Vladimir Putin's announced ceasefire came into force.
