On Thursday, China's foreign ministry voiced its opposition to a recent joint sea and air patrol conducted by the Philippines, United States, and Australia in the South China Sea.

Speaking at a regular press conference, ministry spokesperson Lin Jian reiterated China's resolve to protect its territorial sovereignty and maritime rights, highlighting ongoing tensions in the region.

Lin urged the involved countries to cease actions he described as forming groups and inciting trouble, emphasizing China's call for stability and peace in the contested waters.
