The two leaders strongly criticized Israel for its actions against Iran, asserting that such measures violated international law, according to Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov.

They concurred that a military solution to concerns over Iran's nuclear ambitions was not viable, advocating instead for diplomatic efforts. Xi expressed support for Russia's role in mediating these tensions, believing it could facilitate de-escalation.
