Jaishankar's Firm Stand: No Third Party in Operation Sindoor Ceasefire

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar firmly stated there was no third-party intervention in the ceasefire with Pakistan during Operation Sindoor, dismissing allegations of trade-related mediation.

In a special session in the Rajya Sabha, Jaishankar addressed the Opposition's attacks and reiterated that there were no phone conversations between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump between April 22 and June 16.

Highlighting India's strong stance against terrorism, Jaishankar cited the Pahalgam attack as a serious breach and announced measures like suspending the Indus Water Treaty as corrective actions to legacy issues from Jawaharlal Nehru's era.
