Donald V Thabah, KSU's general secretary, expressed frustration, stating the union felt "forced to take the law into its own hands" due to a lack of legal safeguards and government seriousness.

Calls for a specialized territorial army echo Mizoram's model, suggesting heightened vigilance. NESO plans to convene soon to determine the next steps in their ongoing campaign for protecting indigenous rights and tackling immigration issues.
