Austria's budget deficit is projected to reach around 4.5% of its GDP for the year 2023, according to the Finance Ministry's recent presentation. This represents a marginal adjustment from earlier forecasts.
The latest forecast shows a deficit prediction of 4.54% of GDP, slightly higher than the 4.51% predicted in April. In contrast, the debt-to-GDP ratio is anticipated to decrease marginally to 81.6% from the earlier expectation of 84.7%.
