The Delhi government has launched a significant training initiative targeting all its officials, including senior IAS officers and clerical staff, who have not participated in any skill enhancement programs over the last five years. This move is part of a broader effort to improve governance efficiency and public service delivery.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta emphasized the importance of such training, noting that it equips government employees to handle public grievances more effectively. Official estimates suggest approximately 80,000 Group 'A', Group 'B', and Group 'C' officials are in line for these programs.

The Services Department has been tasked with collecting data on untrained officers from various departments to strengthen training frameworks. This information will assist the Directorate of Training in designing targeted programs, bridging the gap between expected outcomes and actual performance in governance.
