In a significant corruption case unveiled by the Anti-Corruption Bureau in Rajasthan, a senior official and his wife have been accused of funneling bribe money through fake contracts. The official, Pradyuman Dixit, holds a high-ranking position in the Department of Information Technology and Communication.
According to the FIR, Dixit and his deputy, Rakesh Kumar Kamlesh, facilitated the transfer of funds under the pretense of fraudulent contracts. The bribe was allegedly channeled to Dixit's wife, Poonam Pande, via two private companies, AURIONPRO and Triazine Software Pvt Ltd, under the guise of non-existent work.
Investigations revealed that Dixit leveraged his position to appoint his wife to fake posts in these companies. Rs 50 lakh was reportedly funneled into Pande's account since April 2019. The Rajasthan High Court has ordered a probe following irregularities and violations under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
