MeitY Launches ‘YUVA AI for ALL’ to Democratize Foundational AI Education

In a landmark move under the IndiaAI Mission, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has launched ‘YUVA AI for ALL’, a free, self-paced introductory course on Artificial Intelligence (AI) designed to equip India’s youth and broader citizenry with foundational AI literacy.

The course marks a significant step in the democratization of AI education, with a vision to prepare 1 crore (10 million) Indians—including students, working professionals, and curious learners—for a future powered by AI, ensuring that no one is left behind in the digital revolution.

What is ‘YUVA AI for ALL’?

Developed as a 4.5-hour self-paced course, ‘YUVA AI for ALL’ is designed to be accessible, engaging, and deeply contextualized for Indian learners. Created in collaboration with leading ed-tech platforms, the course is available free of cost on:

• iGOT Karmayogi

• Various popular online education portals

The course was curated by noted AI author and digital transformation expert Jaspreet Bindra, Founder of AI & Beyond and Tech Whisperer Ltd. His expertise helps bridge global best practices with India’s unique socio-economic context, while emphasizing ethical, inclusive and responsible AI use.

Structured across six concise yet impactful modules, the course covers:

1. What is AI? – Breaking down AI concepts in simple terms

2. AI in Daily Life – Real-world Indian use cases in healthcare, education, and more

3. Responsible AI Use – Understanding ethics, safety, and digital responsibility

4. Careers & Creativity – Exploring AI’s impact on jobs, innovation, and entrepreneurship
