Authorities successfully apprehended three individuals connected to a series of vehicle thefts at the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences. The Superintendent of Police, Neelam Nega, announced the arrests, which were initiated after receiving written complaints on November 19.
Thanks to CCTV footage, officers identified one suspect, Md Anwar Hussain, who had deceptively posed as a patient on a hospital ward bed to evade capture. Following his arrest by Constable Ganesh Upadhyay, Hussain revealed the identities of two accomplices, leading to their subsequent capture.
The trio admitted to a calculated method of theft, exploiting unlocked doors and half-open windows in various locations. The SP urged the public to secure their vehicles and report suspicious activity, while efforts continue to find a fourth accomplice.
