In a decisive strike against narcotics trafficking, Delhi's law enforcement agencies dismantled a major drug cartel operating across Delhi-NCR. Officials confirmed the arrest of ten alleged peddlers, including three foreign nationals, who were pivotal to the syndicate.
A joint operation, executed in collaboration with the Telangana Police and Narcotics Control Bureau, resulted in the recovery of drugs valued at Rs 12 crore. These included cocaine, MDMA, heroin, and over 5,000 MD pills, primarily smuggled through courier services to Telangana.
This extensive investigation involved more than 40 detained foreign nationals, notably African in origin, who utilized concealed compartments in clothing and shoes to transport contraband. Arrests spanned various locations with critical facilitators arrested for managing money flows and communication logistics for the cartel.
