Home Minister G Parameshwara announced plans to address the Karnataka legislature on the state's law and order situation. The announcement follows opposition BJP's intention to challenge the government during the upcoming winter session.
Parameshwara committed to providing detailed comparisons of the law and order under both the current administration as well as during the BJP's tenure. Amplifying this, he addressed concerns about criminals allegedly receiving preferential treatment in Parappana Agrahara Central Jail, emphasizing that accountability measures have been implemented.
Responding to inquiries about a Special Investigation Team's (SIT) probe into serious allegations in Dharmasthala, he assured factual transparency if the topic arose in the House. Parameshwara also downplayed speculations surrounding his meetings with PWD Minister Satish Jarkiholi, maintaining these were either work-related or casual political discussions.
