Hembram, 41, was officially handed over at the Haridaspur check post, where Indian authorities received him following prompt coordination with their Bangladeshi counterparts.
This development comes after the Mayurbhanj Police were informed of Hembram's situation by the Indian High Commission in Dhaka. After verification and formal procedures, he was finally reunited with his family.
