On Wednesday, the Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) in Dhaka, Bangladesh's capital, closed its doors citing security concerns.
The Jamuna Future Park facility, a major center for Indian visa services, announced the closure and rescheduling of planned appointments.
In response, India's Ministry of External Affairs summoned Bangladesh's envoy to express grave concerns over extremist threats around its Dhaka mission, urging protection of diplomatic sites.
