An Indian Coast Guard vessel, conducting a routine patrol in the Arabian Sea, has successfully intercepted a Pakistani fishing boat that strayed into Indian territorial waters, officials reported Thursday.
Identified as Al-Madina, the boat carried nine crew members and was spotted near the International Maritime Boundary Line on January 14. Despite attempts to escape towards Pakistan, the boat was swiftly intercepted by the Coast Guard.
The captured vessel is currently en route to Porbandar, Gujarat, for a comprehensive examination and joint interrogation by relevant authorities, highlighting the Coast Guard's steadfast commitment to maritime security.
