The government of Arunachal Pradesh has undertaken a routine reshuffle of officials' responsibilities, as revealed in a recent order.

The order, issued by Chief Secretary Manish Kumar Gupta, details changes involving four IAS officers, an IFS officer, and several Arunachal Pradesh Civil Services (APCS) officers.

Important reallocations include Transport Commissioner Saugat Biswas taking on additional duties as Commissioner of Law, while Rajesh Kumar, Secretary of Administrative Reforms and Training, assumes added roles in personnel and vigilance.

The reshuffle also sees YVVJ Rajasekhar, Secretary of the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board, acquire the additional duty of Secretary for Animal Husbandry/Veterinary and Dairy Development. Additionally, IFS officer Koj Rinya will now also serve as an APSSB member.

In another significant move, APCS officers Hage Lailyang and Mika Nyori have been appointed to new joint secretary roles in hydro power development and public works, respectively.

These adjustments, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, have taken immediate effect.
