Amidst escalating tensions, the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces, encouraged by new Kurdish rights decrees by Syria's interim President Ahmad al-Sharaa, decided to withdraw. US military officials engaged with regional counterparts to mediate, contributing to a notable reduction in hostilities.
