Amidst intense tri-partite negotiations, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stressed on Wednesday the necessity of forging a pathway to real peace, rather than affording Russia an opening to prolong the conflict.
In a nightly video address, Zelenskiy underlined the pressing need for the Ukrainian populace to sense tangible steps toward peace and a definitive end to hostilities, rather than enabling Russian tactical advantages.
The president also mentioned expectations of a forthcoming prisoner exchange as part of these latest talks, reiterating the critical nature of these negotiations in resolving ongoing tensions.
