In a dramatic turn of events, two individuals were apprehended following an assault on medical professionals at Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Hospital in Kalyani, West Bengal. The incident, reportedly propelled by a heated altercation, unfolded late Monday night.
A victim of a road accident was admitted around 10:30 pm, after which a disagreement between the victim's relatives and attending doctors escalated. Witnesses noted that the tension led approximately 10 to 15 relatives to physically attack the doctors, who sustained minor injuries.
Local police, alerted to the incident, swiftly arrived on the scene, managing to restore order. In the aftermath, two individuals responsible for the assault were detained, ensuring justice for the attacked healthcare workers.
