U.S. officials have informed European counterparts that some contracted weapons deliveries may face delays because of the ongoing war in Iran, according to three sources familiar with the situation.

Speaking anonymously due to the sensitivity of the communications, the sources stated that numerous European countries, including those in the Baltic region and Scandinavia, will be affected. The weapons in question were bought through the Foreign Military Sales program.

These deliveries, originally scheduled, have not yet been finalized and are likely to be postponed, impacting the military readiness of the recipient nations.
