The Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out searches on Friday at the homes and offices of Punjab industries minister Sanjeev Arora, his son Kavya Arora, and others, according to officials.

The raids took place at their premises, including those linked to a company called Hampton Sky Realty Ltd., as well as at the home of alleged bookie Chandrasekhar Aggarwal in Jalandhar.

Central paramilitary forces provided security during the operation. Arora, who is said to be traveling abroad for official purposes, was previously investigated by the ED in 2024 for alleged misuse of industrial land.
