A 17-year-old British national has been charged following a counter-terrorism probe into an arson attack on a north London synagogue last weekend, police disclosed on Tuesday.
The teenager faces charges of arson not endangering life and is expected to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on April 21. A 19-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident has been released on bail, pending further inquiries.
The attack, which caused minimal damage and no injuries, marks the latest in a concerning pattern of assaults on Jewish sites across London.
