In a dramatic rescue operation, police and emergency teams successfully saved three women from Maharashtra and their driver when their vehicle fell into a 50-meter-deep gorge late Saturday evening on the Kedarnath National Highway.

According to reports, the car veered off the road near the Jurani barrier, situated between Guptkashi and Gaurikund, landing in a ravine. A traffic team was the first to report the incident.

Responders from the Guptkashi police, Phata outpost, and a traffic unit arrived promptly, initiating a challenging rescue mission amid heavy rain and difficult terrain. All four individuals, including the driver, were safely extracted and subsequently taken to a nearby hospital.
